Murielle Cuadrado
Housekeeping Manager
After graduating from hotel school in Cameroon, I left for France in 2002, where I worked on the island of Bendor.
Then, I joined the Hôtel du Castellet *****, where the Head Housekeeper took me under her wing to teach me the job of floor supervisor for a year and a half, and I am very grateful to her. I gained experience in Cavalaire-sur-Mer (Hôtel La Calanque ****), Cassis (Hôtel Mahogany ***), Marseille with Accor (Hôtel Novotel ****), and then started at the Frégate Provence in 2013 as a Floor Supervisor.
Four months later, I was promoted to Assistant Head Housekeeper at this "3-in-1" establishment: the hotel, the country houses, and the residence.
Indeed, here, you have to be dynamic; it's a real workout! Here, I feel like a "family member": my work is truly fulfilling. Following the departure of our head housekeeper, I took over in 2018. I'm fortunate to be surrounded by a fantastic team, without whom I wouldn't be able to provide this level of service. Today, I want to say THANK YOU to them. My goal is to support them, train them, and help them grow.
Our profession demands that we do everything possible to satisfy the guest. We keep a watchful eye on everything and work with our hearts for the guest: no two days are the same! Every day, we enter the private lives of our guests; we are both indispensable and invisible… We must be discreet and vigilant, with meticulous attention to detail. Housekeeping is a behind-the-scenes role, yet it is essential to the hotel's reputation.
I joined the AGGH (Association of Executive Housekeepers in the Hotel Industry) in 2019 to network with my colleagues. It's thanks to this recognition that I've learned to have the confidence to train my teams with passion. I'm also proud to have mentored two trainees a few years ago, who are now executive housekeepers themselves—congratulations!
