Walking and breathing Provence
Provence is right at your feet. The clean air of the Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol hillsides and the views of the inland landscapes and the sea offer opportunities to enrich yourself with this constantly-inspiring natural environment.
Just a few minutes’ walk from Le Frégate Provence, the diversity of Provençal landscapes, flora and fauna reveals itself.
Soak up the Provençal sun by strolling along our Blue Flag-certified coastline.
The Calanque du Port d’Alon
From the hotel, the panoramic view calls out and invites you to dive into the blue of the Mediterranean. Descend for 45 minutes from the parasol pines bent by the wind towards the Calanque de Port d’Alon, an intimate and sheltered cove with turquoise waters, accessible on foot from Le Frégate Provence.
From there, you can join the coastal path to continue walking along the Mediterranean towards Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol.
The Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol coastal path
From the Calanque de Port d’Alon you will discover the coastal path of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol (follow the path indicated by bright yellow signposts with a single line), offering magical views of L’Île Rousse and the Embiez archipelago and continuing towards Bandol. Discover the locally-famous "submarine" rock (Rocher de la Galère).
Turning inland
From the Calanque de Port d’Alon to the Port de La Madrague in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, the vineyard trail offers you a relaxing inland walk through changing landscapes: pride of Provençe and the local and regional wine-growing regions (AOC Bandol and Bastide de Nartette vineyards).
