Meet Azur
The guide dog sponsored by Le Frégate Provence
This little darling was born on January 2, 2025, one of five brothers and two sisters. His mother's name is SOA and his father's name is PALTO (he comes from the CESECAH breeding center in Lezoux).
As of January 30, 2025, Azur already weighed 3.960 kg (8.8 lbs) and 9.600 kg (22.2 lbs) at 2 months old: promising growth for our little Labrador.
Fun fact: the name Azur was chosen by the Frégate Provence Resort Golf & Spa team in February 2025. The partnership agreement with the association was signed on Thursday, March 6, 2025. At 7 months old, Azur is a beautiful baby weighing 29.5 kg (64 lbs) and measuring 57 cm (22.4 in) at the withers.
FUTURE GUIDE DOG FOR THE BLIND
Azur is a Guide Dog Student at the PACA-Corsica Guide Dog Center. His training lasts two years and costs €25,000.

Offer to clean your rooms: each night you refuse to change your bed = a €5 donation towards their training.
By refusing to have your room cleaned (changing your bed between each night), you are directly contributing to Azur's training, allowing all savings to be donated to the association that supports them.
Azur's Life : FAMILy & EDUCATION
Azur is learning well and is starting to feel comfortable almost everywhere. He's a calm and quiet dog by nature. His greatest specialty is anything that moves or flies; he loves it and eagerly wants to catch it.
Until he's 1 year old, Azur stays with his foster family for 3 weeks a month, and goes to the center for 1 week a month to work. Azur is learning the following:
· Walking on a leash without pulling.
· Sitting and lying down.
· Relieving himself in the gutters on command.
· Using stairs and escalators.
· Returning on recall when needed.
Life at home is relatively calm. He also loves playing with other dogs and cats.
