Meet Nicolas Pirlot, Accountant
After several seasons, Nicolas joined the reception team at the Frégate Provence resort at the age of 23.
In 2007, he became a night auditor, starting his day at the beginning of the night and finishing at sunrise. He lived and worked "outside the box" (so to speak) for a few years. For seven years, he alternated between day and night reception duties.
Nicolas enjoys the daily interaction with guests. His job, which combines night shifts and reception duties, blends the precision of night billing with the importance of customer relations in delivering quality service, which is essential to everyone's stay. "I might seem shy at first, but I admit that I'm quite communicative, both with our guests and my colleagues. Human contact is essential in our line of work," he says.
In 2014, Nicolas, who had spent countless nights invoicing, balancing cash registers, and consolidating the day's revenue, decided to try his luck in the accounting department. "I've always had a passion for numbers since my hospitality studies. I needed to get back to a daytime schedule."
He landed the position of accounts receivable accountant within a team where he quickly gained confidence and became independent alongside his colleagues and his manager, who recognized Nicolas's rigor and motivation.
"Today, I'm in charge of the cash registers for the resort's points of sale and the invoicing of partners. I work daily with all the hotel departments; I'm truly in contact with all my colleagues," says Nicolas, delighted with his relationships with the other departments. "Frégate is my second family." “Of course, I enjoy a dream setting every day, one that many of my friends envy, but I’m also lucky to have colleagues I adore!” Nicolas smiled warmly.
