Mathilde Hnatyszyn
Reception Manager
Since I was 18, I've had the opportunity to travel to several countries and developed a taste for discovering their cultures. I've always been impressed by the incredible hospitality one receives in hotels around the world. Every culture is different, every welcome is personalized, and that's how my passion for the hotel industry was born.
I wanted to share the joy and good humor that one feels in these sometimes impoverished countries, where the staff are nonetheless so welcoming.
So, I honed my skills in Paris for eight years in boutique hotels, starting as a receptionist, then becoming a head receptionist, and finally an assistant manager. I must admit, the sun was calling me, so I moved south to work at the Hôtel Le Frégate Provence as Reception Manager three and a half years ago.
Since then, every morning, I realize what a dream setting I work in. I'm also incredibly lucky to have a passionate team I can rely on. My team is my driving force!
At reception, we're in direct contact with our guests, and that's what I love about my job: building relationships with people we don't know at first, but with whom we can naturally establish a special connection. Human warmth is what unites us all; we do this job to welcome and satisfy our guests. And they certainly appreciate it...
As a side note, I have a guest who comes to see us every year with her pet. I personally go and get her, show her to her room, and settle her cat in as well. If the cat is happy, then our guest is happy too, and our mission is accomplished!
